Kaia Crestfall is the youngest CEO of Crestfall Industries, a leading business in the entertainment world. But despite being capable of such a high position, she still needs to constantly watch her back. Especially with a fiance who has ulterior motives…
One day, after calling her mom to call off the engagement for the umpteenth time, she almost gets run over by a car. Narrowly escaping death, she is pulled into the arms of the last person she expected to meet. The one person who had broken her heart…the one person who will brighten her world…the one person she should never be with… Why? Because he’s her enemy. But for some reason, while she is stunned by the man in front of her, he tells her, “Marry me…”
Pathcy: Love the characters. Love the plot. Can’t wait for next update. For those who love pure love, believe in match made in heaven and characters that are from the upper class, this novel is for you.
vera2000: Hahhahaha…this book is so light and very enjoyable. Short but concise. No heavy drama, no dragging of events. Very inetersting and romantic. A 5 because the author did not let me stop reading. Thank you.
XuMuxia: He’s The One ❤ This story reflects a true meaning of relationship that no matter how apart they are or how much pain they feel, they still love each other. That someone is willing to sacrifice their own happiness to protect the people they loved. Love prevails! And it is notable here the true friendship between each other as well. A very good buddy that you can always rely on. This story is wonderful. 💕
AstralisColin2810: The story had me hooked throughout. I love the character development and how much Kaia and Alex trusted and understood each other. The fact that other the supporting characters had a good storyline was also a highlight although the endind seemed to be a little rushed.
I would surely recommend this story…..
chandyl: This novel had a good start but I feel that it’s ending was rushed. The story started really well up until the climax and then it sped off to the ending after that. It would have been great if Author was able to sustain the story a little bit more before ending it. It’s also very short which is quite rare for a webnovel but at least the author still thought of giving her reader the ending instead of leaving the story hanging or dropping the novel entirely. Thank you for your hard work dear author!
missyjck: Good story, nicely written.
However I feel that the ending was rushed.
I was hoping for more details after they knew about the triplets, how they made Alexa accepted the situations etc instead of jumping to like 16 or so years later.
But overall it’s good and entertaining story to read.
Once you start you won’t be able to stop reading.
Kairi645: Story development seems a little rushed as you continue reading. The main girl MC character is a little confusing. She is falling in love, sleeps with him, but makes sure she herself doesn’t love him, shuts him down but next second she doesn’t. You can tell at the beginning, it starts off very interesting very detailed, had a lot of potential. However the story development is my major problem. He starts as a fling in high school (didn’t give much backstory on that so far) and then reveals that they knew each other even before that. I would also like to add is that they got down and dirty around chapter 6 or 7, don’t know if she was in heat, in love, or not because after she says she won’t fall in love. Going back to the pint of them first meeting as kids with the sudden switch, it kind of feels like her disease was thrown in there. Overall, this has great potential and particularly not a bad story. It has some things I disagree with but you can still enjoy the story with certain factors, scenes, or just the storyline. Like I previously stated this has great potential, meaning the storyline is rather interesting to me. My only problem is how it went about it.
namileelee: I was just browsing the app, thinking of what should I read. Until I got curious what this story was about. I clicked it and read the synopsis. It actually caught me immediately upon reading the synopsis. Learning that it was an ongoing story, I hesistated to start reading it so I ended up putting it in my library. But my mind tell me otherwise to immediately read it. Unlike the stories (though they are good as well) I read so far in this app, this one really got my emotions turn upside down, wanting more after every chapter. Learning the suspense, the drama, and everything, it easily got my attention to crave more of the story. I already mentioned this to my comment before but I want to repeat it again here as to elaborate how good this story is. It has a beginning which would lead you to a thought of “huh? Will it be another cliche story which started off from a contract marriage ending them to fall in love with each other?” Yes indeed it was. But as the chapters slowly unfold, it would bring you to emotional rollercoaster. By the end of each chapters, you keep on reading the next because you do not want to cut the excitement, the thrill you develop from the beginning. I taught some scenarios that would suit the plot, but I really cannot predict which of my imaginations would come true. So, I ended up reading further, absorbed by the characters as if I am in the story myself. I may sound a bit overreacting, but this is what I really thought of this piece. It’s truly recommended to read.
